2024-25 After-School Activities Per Grade Level
Become an After-School Activity Leader!

Step By Step Process
1. Reach out to School Activities Coordinator and complete the "Activity Leader Request" form found on the school’s website. Contact the After-School Activities Coordinator when form completed.
2. The Student Activities Coordinator will then contact the administrator overseeing student activities with necessary information. Information should include:

- The name of the sponsor(s)
- Name of sponsors and background check information. Background checks must be completed before the club is presented to the Student Activities Committee and publicized by APS Communications Coordinator.
- Age of students participating
- Fees involved in the activity
- Time and date of activity
- APS location needed
- Copy of insurance.
3. The Administrator charge will review and send it to the Superintendent for green light to present to SAC.
4. Once ready for review, the Student Activities Committee will be presented all information included above.
5. Once approved by the Student Activities Committee, the sponsor must:

- Turn in the Calendar Request to the District Office Manager and copy the Student Activities Coordinator. Please keep in mind that we are not always able to accommodate the classrooms and/or days of meetings that you request.
6. Once your club is approved, the Student Activities Coordinator will add your events to the school calendar.
7. The Student Activities Coordinator will contact the APS Communications Coordinator to set up necessary communication to the community, etc.

- If you need to set up a registration link and coordinate the club announcement for the school news, please let the Student Activities Coordinator know.
8. Your program will be added to the After-School Activities Booklet and Activities Summary Page, housed on the school’s website.
9. The front office secretary will set up your club in our dismissal program - PikMyKid. For TeamSnap training, please reach out to the AD.
10. The Student Activities Coordinator will email you the onboarding booklet which is mandatory to read and sign. The booklet is also listed on the school’s website.
11. Contact the Student Activities Coordinator to sign your leader/volunteer contract (if applicable) and let him know if you need supplies or equipment.
12. Prior to your first club session, please pick up your keycard/keys (if applicable) from the District Office Manager.
13. If you have any club celebrations to share throughout your season, please email the Communications Coordinator.
14. After the end of your season, please fill out the End-of-Season Survey for Activity Leaders.
