Mr. Arney comes to Anchorage from a brief stint as the associate executive director of the Downtown YMCA of Greater Louisville. Before that, he was the district athletic director for the Carroll County school system for 4 years. He and his wife of 25 years, Hillary, are lifelong residents of Carrollton, KY. They have 2 dogs, Annie (corgi) and Riley (catahula). Mr. Arney has coached youth and high school basketball, high school football, and served as a Head HS strength and conditioning head coach.  

Meetings are every 3 weeks, in the APTA office (District Office), on Tuesdays at 1:45 p.m. unless noted otherwise. Visitors are welcome to attend.

By purchasing an Annual Sports Pass, you can attend regular season HOME and games without paying for admission for each individual game during the 2024-25 school year. To purchase an Annual Sports Pass via Ticket Spicket, click here. **The Annual Sports Pass does not include admission to tournaments or away games.

Fee: $50.00 includes entrance to all home games, field and gym, for one adult. You will need to display your electronic Adult All Access ticket at each APS home game you attend. 

For basketball, field hockey, lacrosse, and soccer, admissions are as follows:

• Adults: $5.00
• Students & Children: Free

You may purchase your tickets online via Ticket Spicket. 

Annual sports physicals are required for K-8 students participating in the athletic teams of Anchorage School. Please take this form to your healthcare provider.

If you’ve been in our Large Gym, you’ve noticed our popular wall plaques. Your family has an opportunity to be a part of this Anchorage School spirit. Whether you are currently an Anchorage School family or proud alumni, you can purchase a wall plaque with your family name and graduating year(s) to honor your “Anchor(s)” past and present.

The plaque will be prominently displayed in the gym above the bleachers. Plaques are approximately 18” x 20” printed with red and white on a blue background. The cost per plaque is $350.00.  Plaques can be purchased via this link. 

Upon completing the online purchase, please email the Athletic Director in order that he can add your banner to our annual order.
