Laura BroylesMrs. Broyles spent her early years shooting hoops and catching fly balls. Nowadays, you’ll find her canoeing/hiking with her family, volunteering at church, refinishing furniture, creating seasonal wood crafts, and cheering on her sons at the baseball field and basketball court. When the leaves start changing, Mrs. Broyles enjoys sitting by the campfire writing poetry, and picking pumpkins on the family farm. Year-round she is always searching for innovative technology!
Pilar Del-Castillo GomezMrs. Gomez is our K-6 Spanish teacher. This is her 18th year as a teacher. She moved from Florida to Kentucky in 2014 with her husband and two children. Mrs. Gomez loves to read about Latin American History, traveling, and gardening, but most of all she loves to teach Spanish culture and language. She is originally from Colombia.

Lauren MorrisMs. Morris has always had a love for music after starting piano when she was 4. She has had the opportunity to perform at many wonderful places around the world! Now a days, she spends her days doing DIY projects for her new home, spending time with her family and friends, and playing with the Louisville Winds. Besides that, she loves traveling and trying new things! Ms. Morris looks forward to providing new opportunities for students each year.
Yancey WaltersWhen he was young Mr. Walters was a good pick-up basketball player because you can’t teach tall. He also won the Anchorage Invitational Basketball Tournament as a coach relying on a 1-3-1 ¾ court trap. Many years ago he also won conference championships and coach of the year awards as a college tennis coach. Mr. Walters loves the results he gets from CrossFit, but it hurts him daily. Besides that, he is now mostly content to dominate pickleball and hike with his family. Enjoys reading, collecting rents from tenants, and listening to Alt Rock from before his students were born.
